Currently, five cross-division Strategy Teams are working to generate the strategic objectives, performance criteria and measures, and implementation plans that support each of the division’s five strategic goals. The teams are composed of 6 – 7 staff members and include Strategic Planning Team members as well as other staff from the division who were interested in becoming more involved in the strategic planning process.
Since March 10, these thirty-three individuals representing all portfolios within the division have been meeting on a regular basis to identify specific ways that the division can achieve its goals within the five-year timeframe of our strategic plan. In addition, they are examining appropriate methods for measuring our success. The input that staff members have given throughout the strategic planning process via the focus groups, interviews, vision summit, and periodic surveys has proven invaluable to the Strategy Teams as they develop this key portion of our strategic plan. Later in the semester, division staff will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the work of the Strategy Teams.
